This 6 week course focuses on developing your dogs on and off leash skills.  Included are specific client behavioural issues, reinforce appropriate commands including sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay, heel, walk, reactive walking, place, stay in handler absence, solid recalls.

Puppy Primer & Play (up to 4 months) - Class Duration - One hour every Saturday for 6 weeks

During these one hour sessions you will learn how to settle your dog, potty training and the importance of crating, safety and emergencies

We also discuss nipping, teething, jumping & house manners. Breed specific behaviours, socialization and enrichment.

What is appropriate socialization - enrichment play and brain games

Training that is covered is heeling and loose leash, Sit (luring),

Down (luring), Leave it, Recalls in a fun way

This basic obedience course ensures your 4 month and older companion gets the beginning instruction and knowledge they require to set them on the road to a solid foundation of basic commands in obedience.  This course will begin the process to imprint positive behaviours in a fun way.

During these sessions, your dog will begin to understand your body language, cues, and motions and reinforce commands. We will help you develop skills to understand your dog's behaviours, traits common with the breed, addressing problem behaviours, and reinforcing acceptable behaviours.  You will also develop the skills to reinforce positive behaviours.
